From Here to There: Where We Are On the RGB Road
You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.
—Ansel Adams
I have covered a lot of territory up to this point. So I am going to review some of the things that I have discussed in previous chapters.
• A still photograph is called a still photograph because the picture does not move, not because the objects in the picture were not in motion at the time of capture.
• Visualize the finished image in your mind’s eye as you are making the capture. Do not go out with a camera with preconceived notions of what you will capture; be open to possibilities.
