Sound is as invisible to the human eye as air particles and gases can be – and interiors are full of all of these, impacting occupants on a constant basis. We must design spaces that are not removing health but allowing people’s wellbeing to flourish. Wellbeing will be supported if audibility in spaces can occur without strained effort by occupants.
