“Dr. Campbell, it’s good to see you again. And so soon.”

Harriet obviously remembered me from my recent visit to the R&D center. Vivek gave me a confused look.

“Dr. Campbell?”

“It’s a long story.” Turning my attention to Harriet, I responded, “Good morning, Harriet. We’re here to see Leonard Kibrick.”

“Oh, yes. He’s expecting you. I’ll call him.” As she dialed the number, she turned to me with a question.

“By the way, what’s your colleague’s name? I’ll need to get him a visitor’s badge.”

Vivek introduced himself as Harriet prepared our tags. “Hi, I’m Vivek Chatterjee.”

“You boys here for the burn test? Should be very interesting. Have a nice day, you hear?”
