Ted Leonsis

VICE CHAIRMAN EMERITUS, AOL LLC

Named one of the “25 Most Powerful People in Sports” by Sporting News and “Businessman of the Year” by the Washington Business Journal, Ted Leonsis is an Internet and new-media pioneer, a sports team owner, and an innovator in the world of philanthropy.

During Leonsis’s fourteen-year career with AOL, he served as vice chairman as well as president of several business units including the AOL Services Company; AOL Studios; AOL Web Services; AOL Core Service; and the AOL Audience Business. During his tenure the company enjoyed its greatest periods of growth and financial success. Leonsis stepped down from day-to-day management at AOL in December 2006.
