It's exciting to be the leader of an organization. It gives you the chance to have some real impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of what the group is doing. The exhilarating part of being a leader is diving in and figuring out exactly what is going well and what isn't, and how you can put together a demanding game plan that will improve the group's overall contribution to the organization.
