  • Empathy: Must be able to quickly and accurately analyze how different constituents will react to proposed changes and then custom-tailor his or her argument to resonate with each of these constituents, all with different agendas and motivations, in a convincing way
  • Emotional intelligence: Very open to new ideas and always questioning his or her own approaches and the status quo
  • Courage: Must be able to present radically new ideas to the masses and plow forward despite what will surely be resistance from powerful, entrenched constituents
