Evaluating Your Leadership Potential

AS WE HAVE DEVELOPED our ideas, we have, of course, applied them with many who aspire to leadership in a variety of contexts. These include businesses, military organizations, churches, charities, sports teams, and government. In all these contexts, the same fundamental questions recur.

In what follows, you will not find a neat recipe for leadership. If there were one, someone would have found it by now. Neither do we wish to imply that developing as a leader is easy. It isn’t. We are constantly impressed by how hard effective leaders work at their craft.
