This chapter describes MAC layer operation and other MAC feature enhancements for 802.11be, also called Extremely High Throughout (EHT). These enhancements complement those described in Chapter 6, “EHT MAC Enhancements for Multi-Link Operations,” which dealt with multi-link operation (MLO).
