BASIC MUFFIN RECIPE

Ingredients

180 g of active starter

175 g of water (or half water and half milk)

80 g of powdered sugar

20 g of honey

75 g of melted butter

320 g of type T45 or type T55 flour (pastry or all-purpose)

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1 pinch of salt

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Your choice of garnish: red berries, bananas, chocolate chips, etc.

STEPS

  1. 1Pour the water (or water-and-milk mixture) into a bowl, add the starter, and mix to dissolve. Add the flour, mix quickly with a spoon, and let it stand for 1 to 2 hours, depending on the room temperature.
