I asked Judy Murray, mother of tennis champions Andy and Jamie Murray, what it was that made her sons so successful and what made her such a supportive parent.
She had always loved the sport, she said, and when the boys were young they were given tennis rackets and played with her and each other. Jamie is the eldest, so for Andy it was hugely important that he become as good as his older brother. They were always very competitive with each other.
