10.1 In Search of Inspiration
In 1980, I was employed as a sales consultant at A/S Danregn,
a company owned by Søren Sørensen. By dint of diligence,
competence and thrift, he had created an incredibly solid enter-
prise with a considerable proprietor’s capital. The structure of
the enterprise was of a seasonal kind—a great number of people
were needed from April to June, and fewer for the rest of the year.
The son of the proprietor, who also worked in the company, Peter
Stubkjær Sørensen and I often discussed how the low-employment
