13. Networking

The design goal for Windows 8 networking was to make mobile connectivity ubiquitous and easy to use. Microsoft has kept the networking part of the tile-based interface simple, with only a handful of features exposed. The focus is on getting users connected automatically and keeping them connected even as they move from place to place. In networking, as in all things Windows 8, the word is mobile.
