You can use the Preferences dialog box, shown in Figure 16.11, to set some Backup options that apply to all backup jobs. To display this dialog box, select the Tools | Preferences command. Here's a summary of the check boxes:
Show startup dialog box when Microsoft Backup is started: This check box toggles the startup dialog box on and off.
Back up or restore the registry when backing or restoring the Windows directory: When this check box is activated, Backup automatically selects the Registry files for backup if you include your main Windows 98 folder as part of a backup job.
