Starting Internet Explorer

As I've said, Internet Explorer is an integral part of the Windows 98 world, so after you've defined an Internet connection (as discussed in the previous chapter), you're ready to start your Web journeys. First, establish the connection to your Internet service provider. Then use any of the following methods to start Internet Explorer:

  • In the Quick Launch toolbar, click the Launch the Internet Explorer Browser icon.
  • Launch the desktop's Internet Explorer icon.
  • Select Start | Programs | Internet Explorer | Internet Explorer.
