Showing a map within a page

Presenting a map in the external application is a really nice feature that can be implemented in a very easy way. However, it is significantly more interesting to have a map shown directly in your application, isn't it? Fortunately, your applications can use the MapControl control to achieve this goal, as you will see in this recipe and a few following recipes.
