The isolated storage in Silverlight for Windows Phone 7 follows in some ways the architectural model used for the desktop version. The concept of this storage is to isolate the physical memory of one application from another. Isolated storage undoubtedly has its advantages: the application's data is available only to us, which means that no one else can compromise security by accessing it.
