Chapter 19. Managing Local Connectivity

Connectivity is a huge topic, so we’ve decided to split it up this time into two chapters. In this chapter, we’ll cover “local” connectivity, which we’re arbitrarily defining as everything on the local area network (LAN) and everything you configure on your Microsoft Windows Small Business Server (SBS) 2011 server to allow you to safely connect to the outside world. In Chapter 20, we’ll cover everything you need to connect to your SBS network when you’re not in the office and physically connected to the LAN.
