Validating with the Business

To get a good idea of project scope, the requirements of the business need to be thoroughly understood. Work with business stakeholders to answer the following questions:

  • Prioritize print workloads. Ask each business unit about the importance of its print workload. For example, in a billing department, printing invoices is likely to be mission critical; whereas, for IT, printing is more of a convenience. The answers to these questions should map to the requirements for fault tolerance.
