Updating and Feedback Settings

The next group of settings on the ICT Wizard is used to set how updates are handled and what feedback is sent to Microsoft. The default behavior, if you don’t do anything at all, is to not automatically download any updates, to not send any error reports to Microsoft, but to automatically report what roles are installed on the server. This is not the right settings in most cases, we believe, so let’s do the configuration now.

Enable Updates and Feedback

The first setting in this section of the ICT Wizard is to actually configure what settings are used for updates and feedback. There are three basic choices that you can make when you click Enable Automatic Updating And Feedback on the ICT Wizard:
