Modifying Spooling on a Print Server

By default, all warning events are logged in the Event Log on the Print Services page in Server Manager. To stop logging these events, follow these steps:

  1. Open Control Panel and select Printers.

  2. Point to a blank place in the window and right-click. Select Run As Administrator and then select Server Properties. (See Figure 10-10.)

  3. Click the Advanced tab and clear the Show Informational Notifications For Network Printers check box.

  4. Click OK to finish.
