Windows Terminal Services is installed on all Windows Server 2008 computers. It requires no additional space for the operating system. However, the real requirements are substantial for a computer that will be used with Windows Terminal Services in application server mode. Because each user will be executing her programs on the server itself, you need to determine exactly how your users work and what their real requirements are. Each installation will be different, but what follows are some guidelines to help you size your server appropriately.

RAM
