Creating Registry Items with the Registry Wizard

Use the Registry Wizard to create multiple registry preference items. The Registry Wizard will organize the items you create in a folder that replicates the registry structure. Each item allows you to configure a value or key in the registry and deploy them as needed.

To create multiple registry items, follow these steps:

  1. From the Administrative Tools menu, select Group Policy Management.

  2. In the console tree, right-click the Group Policy object that will contain the new item and select Edit.

  3. In the console tree, under Computer Configuration Or User Configuration, select Preferences and then select Windows Settings.

  4. Right-click Registry, select New, and then select Registry Wizard (Figure 36-2).
