Unless you like to start from scratch, having a pre-existing library of Windows PowerShell functions that you can learn from and directly utilize is a great way to get started. Some Microsoft employees have worked together to develop a sample Windows PowerShell Hyper-V management library. The library is available on Microsoft’s open source project Web site at http://pshyperv.codeplex.com. The information provided in this chapter is based on the 1.00b version of the library.
