The primary high-availability technology available in Windows Server 2019 is failover clustering. Clustering allows you to ensure that your workloads remain available if server hardware or even a site fails. Cluster sets are a new feature available in Windows Server 2019, and they allow clusters to be loosely federated. Windows Server 2019 also includes network load-balancing functionality, which allows you to scale out non-stateful workloads, such as web server front ends.
