Standard or Premium Edition?

The question of whether to purchase the Standard Edition or the Premium Edition of Windows SBS 2008 should be based solely on your need for a second server to run line-of-business applications. The functionality of the primary server is identical in both editions, so if you do not have any applications that require SQL Server and you don’t plan on adding any in the near future, then you are better off with Windows SBS 2008 Standard Edition.
