Working with Computers

Windows SBS 2008 includes the operating system for your server (or servers, if you purchased the Premium Edition), but you must purchase the Windows Vista SP1 or Windows XP SP2 operating system for your workstations separately. Once you have installed Windows Vista or Windows XP, you can join your workstations to the network by running the Connect Computer program on them.

Note

To run successfully, the Connect Computer program requires that you use Windows Vista SP1 or later or Windows XP SP2 or later.
