Download Media from a Service

You have a few issues to consider before you download anything from a Web site. First, every site has different requirements and limitations. You might need to download special software from a movie site, for instance, before you can download movies.

Second, you can download content in different ways. Some sites will allow you to "rent" movies—you can download and view them as much as you want during a 24-hour period, for example. Others will allow you to download a movie and keep it forever, but you will be barred from burning it to a DVD. Still others let you do whatever you want with the downloaded content—including burning it to a DVD—but you’ll pay different fees for the different options.
