Configuring Web Pages As Home Pages
One of my favorite new features in Internet Explorer 7 is the ability to have up to
eight home pages. When you configure a web page as a home page, Internet Explorer
opens the page anytime you start a new browser session or click the Home button. If
you have more than one home page configured, Internet Explorer opens each page in
a separate tab.
The Home Options button to the right of the Home button allows you to display
and select from a list of home pages that you’ve configured. You can also use the
options it provides to add, change, or remove home pages. You can add or change
home pages by completing the following steps:
1. In Internet Explorer 7, click the Home Options button to the right of the Home
2. On the shortcut menu, select Add or Change Home Page. This displays the Add
or Change Home Page dialog box shown in Figure 7-11.
