Overview of the Contents
This book contains nearly 120 specific tips with nearly 150 illustrations that are arranged in sections that flow from planning a presentation, to developing it, to delivering it. Each tip is short and to the point, often with accompanying illustrations, so that any tip can be read and absorbed in just a few minutes. Although some tips relate to similar underlying concepts, each will stand on its own, so you can read any tip in isolation and apply it. Because tips stand alone, there is also no need to read the book sequentially and, if desired, you can focus on sections where you feel you need the most help.
By following these tips, you'll get better at creating and delivering presentations that provide information in a manner enabling it to be received, understood, and embraced by your audience. This combination will help increase the level of data literacy within your organization while increasing your influence. Each section is described briefly here.
