In Book 6, Chapter 2, you learned about block themes and the site editor, and the concept of block patterns came up as well, as a way of creating and managing your content. Block patterns are predefined combinations of blocks that allow you to save them, and then quickly and easily apply them to the overall layout of your website. There are several ways to use block patterns to create pages and layouts.

Some default block patterns are included in your WordPress installation, and if you are using a block theme, some block theme developers include a library of block patterns, like the default Twenty Twenty-Four theme. You can download patterns and even create your own. This chapter takes you through discovering how to do all of those things.
