Chapter 2. Getting Started

Before we can begin building a workflow, we need to get our environment set up. This chapter is going to cover everything we need to get that taken care of. Yep, I know, it doesn't sound that exciting. Nonetheless, it is important. As I said in the introduction to this part, if you feel some pathological need to skip a chapter, this is the one to skip. I'd recommend at least skimming it, though, just to make sure that you've got everything covered. The chapter is pretty short and I'm not going to insult your intelligence by walking you through each installation. I'm going to discuss all of the prerequisites and talk about the part they play. I'll cover any gotchas and just generally make sure that everyone gets started ...
