11 The Plan
Earlier Friday morning, Don had walked into Tim’s office. “Got a sec?” Don asked.
“Sure,” Tim responded. “What’s up?”
“I’ve been thinking about Copper-Bottom and what our approach needs to be. I wanted to share my ideas with you and see if we can develop a six-month plan of action. You game?”
“Absolutely,” Tim said.
“May I use your whiteboard?”
Tim knew the question was a courtesy and graciously extended his hand, indicating that Don should feel free.
“I’ve been asking myself where they need to be in six months,” Don began. “You and I understand that six months will only get them to the starting line of a lifelong race, but it’s a long way from where they are today. Agreed?”
