The week after his boss agreed to extend his probation to six months, Jack allowed Friedman’s personnel to conduct the first morale survey. As expected, the score was extremely poor, but per his commitment, he sent the results to George. Because of Jim’s counsel, George understood these scores were only the baseline and did not take issue. What he did comment on was when, by the second month, the scores started to nudge upward.
