Chapter 5 examines relationship violence. Relationship violence is perhaps the most pervasive social issue of our day, and it is often the most underreported. Police in every jurisdiction, regardless of socioeconomic, educational, religious, or other standing, commonly deal with the issue of violence between intimates.
