When Things Get Down and Dirty

Workplace Violence

Abstract

Traditional martial arts don't spend a lot of time training on ground fighting, but the focus is shifting since many defense situations end up on the ground. A company needs to be able to protect itself even when things get down and dirty. One way that an organization can be knocked down is if employees bring violence to work. Companies need to provide the right processes and training before an incident to make sure that the best steps are taken to protect the victim/employee.
