Wellesley R. Foshay is vice president for instructional design and cognitive learning for PLATO Learning, Inc., makers of the PLATO® computer-based learning resource. Dr. Foshay is responsible for PLATO's product designs, development methodology, and internal instructional design training, as well as evaluation of PLATO's instructional effectiveness. His background includes faculty positions at the high school and university levels, as well as over eighteen years' experience in corporate technology-based training. His doctorate is in instructional design from Indiana University.
