Deploying to devices is both important and a bit of a hassle when you try it the first time. Testing on a device will commonly display performance issues that aren't present in the simulator/emulator of your application. You can also test things that are only possible on real devices such as GPS, camera, memory limitations, or cellular network connectivity.
