In this recipe we will learn about the Graph API and the Facebook Query Language (FQL). The Graph API is the core of Facebook and represents a simple social graph pertaining to people and each of the connections they have, by representing each of the objects in the graph (for example, people, photos, events, and pages) and the connections between them (for example, friend relationships, shared content, and photo tags).
