  1. Modify the course catalog XML document (and the corresponding DTD or XML schema) to include classes for each semester for an entire year (Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer). Then, modify the PerlSAX application shown in Listing 3.9 to print out a report similar to the report shown in Listing 3.10 for each semester.

  2. Modify the XML ATM log DTD to support multiple days of transactions. Then, modify the Xerces application shown in Listing 3.25 to generate a report that provides a summary for each day and totals the deposits and withdrawals over the entire time period.
