Chapter 16. Processing XML data

Issues involved in developing software to read and write XML documents are covered in this chapter, as well as the circumstances that determine when it is necessary to process a DTD in order to accurately interpret the markup in a document. It also introduces concepts that led to the development of the SAX and DOM standards, and highlights the difference between these approaches.
