Appendix C: XMLReader/XMLWriter Reference

Most of this reference come from from the PHP online manual at http://php.net/xmlreader and http://php.net/xmlwriter, but I have attempted to test each function and to fill in the gaps when the PHP online manual is incomplete or ambiguous. Note that this reference omits properties and methods that have been deprecated or that have been defined but not yet implemented.

XMLReader and XMLWriter both require libxml to be enabled, which is enabled by default.
