25.3. System Users
Profiling a system’s users before jumping into the code is always a good idea. Several types of users want to use this system. Certainly the administration and staff members need to be able to request resource reservations. Only a few people have the right to actually place a confirmation for a reservation. You also want to allow the school community to view resource availability at any time, from any Web-enabled device. Other users need to be authenticated only when they request a reservation. A production application should include internationalization features allowing each user a view that is specific to his or her culture. Our sample application is designed for this contingency but does not implement it.
