When Expectations Get Out of Control

It’s 3:00 p.m. Paul is back at his desk, trying to plan how he will deliver the new project if he wins it. He agreed to the tight deadline, and asked for two days to create a detailed project plan before providing a final formal quote. Since the client first contacted him four days ago, Paul has been looking forward to working out how much money he could make from this project. He expects a healthy profit, enough to pay for a good vacation and to take his business to another level.
