Using Multiple User Accounts

The first tip regards trying to “do it all” on one computer. If you must surf the Web, edit video, or use Microsoft Word on the same computer as the one on which you run Cubase, you should look into setting up your machine for multiple users.

Setting up a user profile strictly for audio production (your Cubase studio) and another user profile for everything else has proved beneficial for Cubase users. For Mac, I recommend downloading free software called Diablotin to help you set up your preferences. To find Diablotin, try Googling “Diablotin” and look for downloads.
