Virtual Memory

I went over RAM earlier and the importance of having a lot of RAM in your system. Windows and Mac operating systems also employ something called virtual memory. Virtual memory uses a designated portion of your computer’s hard drive to help ease the load on your processors and RAM. Again, under the Advanced tab in the System settings of your Windows computer, you will find the Virtual Memory settings. I personally recommend disabling virtual memory, but you should try adjusting it to see if you notice a difference in the way your system runs.
