8. Basic Editing

If I had to choose the best reason to own a DAW such as Cubase, I would say for the power a DAW gives you when editing both MIDI and audio. Cubase has some of the best tools available for editing music in today’s world. If you’re wondering how bands sound so polished when you listen to a recording today, it’s most likely because the producer knows how to edit audio and/or MIDI very well.
