Getting to Know the Toolbar Buttons

There are many tools you will use to edit MIDI and audio, but the tools you access from the Cubase toolbar buttons are the most universal and flexible available in Cubase. Cubase 4’s tool buttons are grouped together on the tool bar. In Figures 8.1 and 8.2, I have provided a closeup of the tool buttons as well as the name of each button. Figure 8.1 shows how the tool buttons appear in the Key Editor, whereas Figure 8.2 shows how the tool buttons appear within the Project window.
