Chapter 8. Using Your Notebook with an iPod or MP3 Player

You’re sitting in a coffeehouse, sipping a cappuccino. Or maybe you’re lounging in your hotel room. Or suffering through a cross-country plane trip. You have your notebook open, doing a little work. And you’d give anything to have some music to listen to.

What you might not know is that your notebook PC is also a neat little music player. You can store music files on your notebook’s hard drive and listen to that music over your notebook’s speakers—or, even better, a set of quality earbuds or headphones.
