Set some targets

On a piece of paper, into your PDA or computer, or anywhere where you can easily access it, write the following:

  • eat no more than 6g of salt a day;
  • eat five or more portions of fruit and vegetables a day;
  • be active for at least 30 minutes on at least five days a week;
  • drink no more than the safe recommended amounts of alcohol;
  • achieve my ideal weight.

Tick each one that you are already achieving. Next, choose one that you’re not doing but you aim to tick off next and go for it. That’s all you have to do.
