Avoid the high fat and high sugar perils of shop bought ice cream by making your own fruit lollies. Lolly moulds can be bought cheaply from most major department stores and large supermarkets. Fill the moulds with fresh fruit juice or puree (strawberries, raspberries, kiwis and pineapple all work well) and freeze for at least two hours. Experiment with exotic fruit cocktails or blend fruit with vanilla yogurt or banana for smoothies-on-a-stick. Stripy lollies look great too.
